CallVelocity was founded by sales operators who spent years watching inbound leads slip through the cracks — not because the advertising failed, but because the conversation did.
Before building CallVelocity, our founding team spent a combined 30 years in sales leadership — running call centers, managing field sales teams at home services companies, and coaching frontline reps who handled hundreds of inbound calls every week.
We saw the same pattern everywhere. A business would spend $10,000 a month on Google Ads to get the phone ringing. And then someone at the front desk would pick up, stumble through a price objection, say "feel free to call back," and hang up. Deal lost. No one would ever know.
"You can't improve what you can't see. And most sales managers can't see 95% of the calls their team is taking."
— Marcus Chen, Co-Founder & CEOThe tools that existed were either built for enterprise call centers — expensive, complex, and requiring a dedicated IT team — or they were basic transcription services with no insight into what actually happened on the call. Neither was built for the sales manager at an HVAC company, or the owner of a flooring business who just needs to know why their close rate is dropping.
So we built CallVelocity. A tool that listens to every inbound call, understands what's happening at a sales level — not just a transcription level — and gives you the specific, actionable feedback your team needs to close more.
We launched in 2024 with a handful of home services customers. Within six months, those companies were seeing average close rate improvements of 20–35%. The product sold itself. We've been growing through word-of-mouth ever since.
Most reps don't know they're losing calls the wrong way. Once they can see it, they want to fix it. Our job is to make the invisible visible.
The best investment most businesses can make isn't adding headcount — it's making the team they have dramatically better. That's what we're built for.
The HVAC owner and the Fortune 500 VP of Sales have the same problem. One of them gets a $200k tool. We think that's wrong.
We obsess over making our insights specific and actionable. A score without a "here's exactly what to fix" attached to it isn't worth anything.
